We had a blast on Friday during our Ooey Gooey Science Vacation Camp. We started the day learning all about how things are made. We were able to discuss the chemical reaction that make foam. We got to experiment with Poly A and Poly B and created our own foam monsters.
We were amazed by how big our monsters turned out. We created ooey gooey slime and were so excited to feel how icky it was. It was a lot of fun to use regular household ingredients to make this cool project.
Not only did we do cool science experiments throughout the day, we also were able to play fun games. We learned all about what Hippos eat and had an exhilarating time playing Hungry Hungry Haverford (the life-size version of Hungry Hungry Hippo).
We also had terrific time during Ooey Gooey Art. We were able to create our very own three dimensional paint. After we created our paint, we mixed together our primary colors to create some really cool and unique new colors. We are so proud at how our art projects came out.
We ended our day of Ooey Gooey Science by doing the messiest experiment of all. We created Elephant Toothpaste. It was so fantanstic to see the toothpaste going flying everywhere and all over our instructor Michael.
Ooey Gooey Day was so much fun.
